- Hamilton's plan would make a lot more money- Manufactured goods make a ton of money. First, you can make thousands of products a day in factories while you have to wait days for food to even start growing. Factories can work 365 days a year and the goods don't perish, unlike farms that only produce inseason and often the food rots.
- You can't be a superpower with farms- How many world superpowers do you know that are agricultural. None. To be successful, we need factories that make goods that we can ship globally. These factories can also pump out weapons and uniforms, which would help our country in war, something a farm could never do. If we don't have factories, we'd be like Switzerland-and how much power do they have
- Factories provide a lot more jobs- On a farm/plantation, the owner will get rich by doing nothing while slaves do all the work. You might say that people work in factories for hardly any money, but at least you make some AND they won't get beaten. A factory also provides jobs for uneducated people, who otherwise would be on the street.
Those are just three reasons why Hamilton's plan is a lot better, and there are many more. If the U.S. wants to become successful, Hamilton's plan is the way to go.

yes jordi i agree 100%. we ned to adopt Hamiltons America. If we do not adopt this method and we go into war with one of supplying countries prices for those goods will be raised or they will not sell us these goods at all and our country will fail. We need to build our own factories so we arn't dependent on other countris. If we are dependent on other countries we arn't free. They decide if we have neccassary goods to live or not. If we can become not dependent on other countries we will become free once and for all.
I also agree with you Jordi. It is hard to build an America that only has farms. We need to get some factories that can make stuff faster and cheaper. On top of the products being cheap and easier to make, you can pay workers for alot less. This will help save some more money for the factory owners. I think we need to adopt Hamilton's America.
People will make more money. However, the factories will contribute to global warming. (or does that even apply in the 1790's??)
However, industrial will mean more jobs.
I think that Hamilton's plan was better because as Billy said, it provides more jobs and factories can make a lot more money without taking us as much space. Also, if we make the products in our own country, they will be cheaper for us and we wont have to import everything. So all around it saves and earns a lot more money for america.
if all we have is farms then a small plague or an extreamly dry season comes, then we would have nothing. if we build factories then wether we live or not does not depend on the weather.
